There are several different groups in the church doing a variety of different things. Some of these are mentioned on the Ministry Page. Others can be found here. Please do not hesitate to ask if you would like to know more or want to get involved.
Church Groups

The Choir
The choir is vibrant and active part of church life and supports our worshipping life by deeply enriching it and offering real colour and life. It is also a lovely mixed aged group of which to be a part. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings on Sundays at 9.30 with a smaller group also singing at 6pm. The organist and choirmaster is George Roberts who is always glad to encourage new members.

Craft Group
The Craft Group meets every other week to get creative and enjoy good friendship and support.
For more information contact Maureen Palmer at the Parish Office.

Trinity Trekkers
This group arrange walks on a regular basis for church members and their friends. This is a great way to exercise and socialise and to meet new people. Everyone is welcome. The next walk is on Saturday 10th July.

Fund Raising & Social Activities
The fund raising group organises great social events and other activities which raise vital money for the church but also provide great fellowship and fun. Events take place throughout the year and include meals, quizes, concerts, Beetle Drives, Fairs, BBQs and much more.
For more information on future events please check the Diary and Special Events pages.

Flower Group
The Flower Group ensure that the church always has lovely flower arrangements and displays.
The group particularly shows its flair at festival time -
The Mothers’ Union
There has been a branch of the Mother’s Union at Holy Trinity Church, Washington since 1896.
The members meet once a month on the first Monday at 1.30pm. The meeting begins with an act of worship and is followed sometimes by a speaker and sometimes by a discussion on a relevant topic. The Mothers’ Union offers friendship, pastoral care and support to each other.
Each year there is a summer outing and always a very
memorable Christmas lunch.
There is a coffee morning held on the third Wednesday of each month and all monies collected by the Mothers’ Union go towards projects all over the world where there is a need.
The Mothers’ Union helps to support a range of church activities. For example it assists the clergy in preparing couples for marriage, in preparing families for baptism and in helping to support many other church events and activities.
